Draft of Code on Social Security (Maharashtra) Rules, 2021

The Draft of Maharashtra Code on Social Security Rules,2021 has been notified in the gazette on 27 August 2021.

Applicability

The Draft Rules extend to the whole of State of Maharashtra.

Upon the Rules coming to force, it shall repeal:

• Maharashtra Unorganized Workers’ Social Security Rules, 2013
• Payment of Gratuity (Maharashtra) Rules, 1972;
• Maharashtra Maternity Benefit Rules, 1965
