An occupier of a factory is required to obtain a Licence under the provisions of the act. For this purpose he is required to make an Application to the Office of the Directorate of Factories in the given format.
An Application for renewal of Licence is required to be made to the office of the Director of Factories.
The Licence is valid upto 31st December of the year in which it has been granted. An Application for renewal of Licence complete in all respects is required to be made in advance delivered in the office of the Director of Factories at least 30 days before the due date of expiry of the Licence, which is 31st December of the preceeding Calendar year for which the Licence has been granted/renewed/applied for renewal.
