The Draft of Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions (Uttarakhand) Rules, 2021 has been notified in the gazette on 02 March 2021.
Applicability
The Draft Rules upon coming into force shall extend to whole of Uttarakhand and shall come into force on the date of their publication in Official Gazette.
The Draft Rules upon coming into force shall repeal:
- The Uttarakhand (U.P. Factories Rules, 1950) Adaption and Modification order, 2002;
- The Uttarakhand (U.P. Factories Welfare Officers Rules, 1955) Adaption and Modification order' 2002;
- The Uttarakhand (U.P. Factories Safety Officers Rules, 1984) Adaption and Modification order' 2002;
- The Uttarakhand (U.P. Factories Control of Industrial Major Accident Hazards Rules, 1996) Adaption and Modification order, 2002
- The Uttarakhand (U.P. Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition rules, 1975) Adaption and Modification order, 2002;
- The Uttarakhand (U.P. Inter-State Migrant Workmen Regulation of Employment and conditions of Service. Rules. 1983) Adaption and Modification order,2002,
- The Uttarakhand Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules,2005
