The Draft Rules of Social Security (Jharkhand) Rules, 2021 has been notified in the gazette on 03 August 2021.
Applicability
The Draft Rules shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
Upon the Rules coming to force, it shall repeal:
- Jharkhand Workmen’s Compensation Rules, 1924
- Jharkhand Maternity Benefit Rules, 1964
- Payment of Gratuity (Jharkhand) Rules, 1972
- Jharkhand Building and Other Construction (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2006, and
- The Jharkhand Unorganized Workers Social Security Rules, 2013
