The Haryana Labour Welfare Fund Rules

The Haryana Labour Welfare Fund Rules is an act to provide for the constitution of a Fund for the financing of activities to promote the welfare of labour in the State of Punjab and for conducting such activities and for certain other purposes. The state of Haryana is following the Punjab Labour Welfare Fund Rules.

RULES:
  • Any Establishment/Employer employing 10 or more persons
  • All employees employed,directly by or through any agency,including a contractor for remuneration in any Factory/Est Employee shall contribiute 0.2% of salary or wages or any remunerations subject to a limit of ₹ 31. Employer shall contribute to the fund every month, twice the amount contributed by an employee provided that the limit specified above shall be inducted annually to the consumer price index bringing from first of January each year.
