Draft Employees' State Insurance (Central) Amendment Rules, 2022

The proposed amendment to make following changes to the rules:

• A Person appointed before 01.04.2020 shall be qualified to claim sickness benefit for benefit period, January 2021-June 2021 in respect to contribution payable for certain time period,
• An Insured Women shall be eligible to claim maternity benefit for a confinement occurring or expected to occur in the benefit period January 2021-June 2021 in respect to contribution payable for certain time period.

Any objections/suggestions to be submitted to the concerned authorities within thirty days from the date of this notification published in the gazette as specified in the said notification.
