Form I - Register of Fines,Deductions for Damages or Loss and Advances

Employer shall maintain registers for advances paid, fines imposed, and deductions made. As per Karnataka Payment of Wages Rules, employer shall maintain a unified register, month wise as per the given format. This consists of establishment details, principal employer details, contractor particulars, and information on fine, deductions, and advances. 

When an employer maintain this unified register, it covers the following additional compliance requirements as well:

  • Forms XXI, XX, and XXIII under Rule 78(1) of Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) (Karnataka) Rules, 1974
  • Forms I & II  under Rule 22(4) of Karnataka Minimum Wages Rules, 1958
