The Draft Uttar Pradesh Social Security Rules,2021 has been notified in the gazette on 03 March 2021.
Applicability
The Draft Rules extend to the whole of Uttar Pradesh and shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
Upon the Rules coming to force, it shall repeal:
- Uttar Pradesh Workmen’s Compensation Rules, 1975;
- Uttar Pradesh Workmen’s Compensation (Occupational Diseases) Rules, 1964;
- Uttar Pradesh Maternity Benefit Rules, 1983;
- Uttar Pradesh Payment of Gratuity Rules, 1975;
- Uttar Pradesh Building and Other Construction (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2009; and
- Uttar Pradesh Unorganized Workers Social Security Rules, 2016.
