Rights of Persons with Disabilities (Amendment) Rules
The Government of India has notified the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (Amendment) Rules, 2023.
In the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2017, in rule 15, in sub-rule (1), after clause (f), the following clause shall be inserted, namely:-
(g) Accessibility Standards for HealthCare, notified by the Government of India in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, vide notification number F.No. T.21017/20/2021-NCD.I (NPPCD)/Part., dated the4th May, 2023.
Note : The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2017 were published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section 3, sub-section (i) vide notification number G.S.R. 591 (E), dated the 15th June, 2017 and was last amended vide G.S.R. 528 (E) , dated the 21st July, 2023.

The Central Govt. has published the notification amending certain provisions of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules.
