The coverage under Section 1(5) of the ESI Act, 1948 extends to the Casual and Contractual workers engaged under Municipal Bodies including Municipal Corporation and Municipal Councils and Other Urban Local Bodies run by the State Govt of Tamil Nadu and Odisha.
