ESIC has notified that certain provisions of ESI Act shall come in to force from 01 November 2023, in Nilgris District of Tamil Nadu.The following provisions of ESI Act, shall come into force from 01 November 2023:
- sections 38 to 43 and sections 45A to 45H of Chapter IV;
- sections 46 to 73 of Chapter V;
- sections 74, 75, sub-sections (2) to (4) of section 76, 80, 82 and 83 of Chapter VI,
in all the areas of Nilgiris district, in addition to the already notified areas in the said district, in the State of Tamil Nadu.
