ESIC has notified that certain provisions of the ESI Act shall take effect in the notified districts of Uttar Pradesh from 01 November 2023.The following ESI provisions shall come into effect from the 1st day of November, 2023:
- sections 38 to 43 and section 45A to section 45H of Chapter IV;
- sections 46 to 73 of Chapter V; and
- sections 74, 75, sub-sections (2) to (4) of section 76, 80, 82 and section 83 of Chapter VI
in all the areas of Lalitpur, Kushinagar, Kaushambi, Budaun, Sultanpur, Deoria, Ballia, Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Baghpat, Chitrakoot, Sambhal and Ayodhya districts in the State of
Uttar Pradesh.
