Amendment to the Employees Provident Funds Scheme, 1952
The Ministry of Labour and Employment has notified the amendment in the Employees’ Provident Funds Scheme, 1952.
In Para 4 of the EPF Scheme, after the words "Proceeds arising out of", the words "sale or redemption of investment in equities and related investments" shall be inserted.
This will be with effect from August 24, 2023.
