Business Reform Action Plan, One time inspection for One establishment

Business Reform Action Plan

Assistant Labour Commissioner/Labour-cum-Conciliation Officers, Labour Inspector Grade-1 and 2 (L.E.Os) will henceforth inspect the establishment only once under the following acts and not twice:

  1. Punjab Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1958

  2. The Factories Act, 1948

  3. Minimum Wages Act, 1948

  4. Payment of Wages Act, 1936

  5. Equal Remuneration Act, 1976

  6. Payment of Bonus Act, 1965

  7. Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972

  8. The Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970

  9. The Punjab Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1965

  10. The Maternity Benefit Act, 1961
