The Government of Haryana, on account of the Bye Election in 21-Sardarshahar Assembly Constituency of Churu District, Rajasthan to be held on December 05, 2022, has exempted the workers (enrolled as voters in the State of Rajasthan, Churu district) for the week commencing from 04 to 10 December 2022. Such workers shall not be required to work on election day.
Declaration of Holiday on Account of Panchayat Election in Haryana
01 May, 2023Haryana Govt. has declared holiday on 15 June 2023 on account of Panchayat Election. The Governor has exempted only those workers who are working in the Factories in the State of Haryana and are enrolled as the voters where General Elections of Gram Panchayat Sambhalkha, Block Ladwa, District Kurukshetra for which poll shall be held on the 15.06.2023 (Thursday) from the operations of provisions of Sub-section (1) of Section 52 of the Factories Act, for the week commencing from 18.06.2023 and ending on 24.06.2023, subject to the condition that no adult worker who is enrolled as voter in election to Gram Panchayat Sambhalkha, Block Ladwa, District Kurukshetra shall
be required or allowed to work on 15.06.2023 (Thursday) in the factories of the state of Haryana.

Exemption under Factories Act on account of General Election in Haryana
09 Dec, 2022The Government of Haryana, on account of General Elections to be held on 13 December 2022 in Panch of Ward No. 5, Gram Panchayat Rukhi Khas, Block Gohana, District Sonipat, has exempted the workers, enrolled as voters in Sonipat district, Haryana, from the operation of Section 52(1) of the Factories Act, 1948, for the week commencing from 11th till 17th December 2022. Such workers shall not be required to work on election day.
