As per the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Himachal Pradesh Amendment Act, 2020, the Act will apply to every establishment in which thirty or more workmen are employed or were employed on any day of the preceding twelve months as contract labour.The Contract Labour Act, 1970 provides a threshold of twenty or more workmen and it has been amended by Himachal Pradesh Government in its state to thirty or more workmen.
