Access and Download Team IT Statements on greytHR

An income tax statement, also known as an income tax return or simply a tax return, is a document that individuals, businesses, and other entities file with the government to report their income, expenses, and other relevant financial information for the purpose of calculating and paying taxes owed to the government.
The IT Statement screen in the greytHR Mobile application helps you as a manager to view the latest/previously released IT statements of your team members as per the selected payroll month and the regime.
View and download team member's IT statement
To view and download your team member's IT statement, perform the following actions:
From the greytHR Mobile application, navigate to Explore > Salary > IT Statement. Alternatively, you can navigate to Actions > IT Statement.
On the IT Statement screen, tap the Me profile icon.
In the Search your teammate search box, enter the name or ID of the team member.
From the Month dropdown list, select the required month for which you want to view the IT statement. The screen displays the details under the following tabs:
Summary: The tab displays the details such as Taxable Income, Annual Tax, Total Paid till date, Remaining tax to be deducted, Tax deductable per month, and Remaining Months.
Detailed view: The tab displays the details of the consolidated amount and the breakdown structure for various salary components such as Income, Deduction, Perquisites, Income Excluded From Tax, Gross Salary, Exemption Under Section 10, Income From Previous Employer, Income After Exemption, Less Deduction Under Section 16, Income Chargeable Under The Head Salaries, Income From Other Sources (Including House Properties), Gross Total Income, Deduction Under Chapter VI A, Taxable Income, Annual Tax, Tax Paid Till Date, Balance Payable, and TDS Recovered In Current Month.
Note: You can view details of the consolidated amount of each salary component under the Detailed view tab by tapping the ➡ arrow.Tap the Download IT Statement button to download your team member’s Summary/Detailed view of the income tax statement. A success message appears.
