Gross Salary

Gross salary or pay refers to the total of an employee’s regular income, allowances and other one-time payments. This also includes all the regular, statutory and other one-time deductions to be made before the Net Salary is disbursed.

Gross pay = All types of regular income + allowances + any one-time payment or benefit.
