To expedite the process of reimbursement, the financial power, in respect to an amount up to Rs. 50000, has been delegated to the Sub-Regional Offices so that the bill can be scrutinized by the medical referee, wherein it will be sanctioned and paid at the SRO level by electronic transfer.
